About Silvan Ruthenberg
Neurodiversity, Risk & Innovation: My Focus
I support organisations that are fast-moving, tech-oriented and under pressure to innovate and transform. Rather than treating neurodiversity as a side issue or a one-off initiative, I help leaders integrate it into how they think about risk, resilience and strategic advantage.
Being neurodivergent myself, I bring both lived experience and a systemic lens. I work with startps and , corporate boards, event organisers and journalists who want to understand how neurodiversity changes the way we build teams, make decisions and manage uncertainty.

From Business Transformation to Neuroinclusion Consulting
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked across finance, technology and social impact, often in environments where the stakes are high and the pace of change is relentless. That background in business transformation taught me how strategy, culture and operations either reinforce or quietly undermine each other.
A former Senior Account Director at LinkedIn, I also was the first Global Lead and a Global Board Director at the Institute Of Neurodiversity (ION), the world's largest, most globally represented neurodiversity NGO.
In September 2025,I joined I bring a uniquely interdisciplinary and impact-driven approach to leadership development, organisational transformation, and neuroinclusive governance. In September 2025. I joined NEOSITY as Partner and Global Neurodiversity Strategist.
My shift into neurodiversity and neuroinclusion consulting grew out of two realisations:
  • First, that neurodivergent people often have exactly the kind of perspectives organisations need to navigate complexity, risk and innovation.
  • Second, that most systems, from hiring processes to leadership norms, were not designed with neurodivergent people in mind.
Today, I help organisations redesign those systems so they can attract, retain and empower neurodivergent talent, while also improving how they sense risk, generate ideas and adapt to change.
How I Work with Organisations and Boards
My approach is collaborative, direct and practical.
I don’t believe in copy-paste frameworks or “awareness-only” programmes that never touch how work actually gets done.
When I work with organisations, we:
  • Start from your context and constraints – business model, risk profile, culture, regulation
  • Identify where neurodiversity and neuroinclusion can create real value for you
  • Co-design interventions that are specific, testable and measurable
When I work with boards, we:
  • Map how neurodiversity, risk, innovation and culture show up in your current agenda
  • Explore scenarios and edge cases that can reveal blind spots
  • Integrate a neurodiversity lens into existing structures rather than adding more noise
Across all my work, the goal is the same: to help you build organisations that are more innovative, more resilient and more human – by recognising and leveraging the full range of minds already in and around your business.
